Microfiche Scanning Solutions
A microfiche is a flat film 105 x 148 mm in size, that is ISO A6. It carries a matrix of micro images. All microfiche are read with text parallel to the long side of the fiche. Frames may be landscape or portrait. Along the top of the fiche a title may be recorded for visual identification. All prices exclude VAT.
We are happy to provide affordable quotations based upon your budgets, both satisfying your requirements and ensuring you receive stunning converted images to digital formats.
We find that most film and fiche has not been maintained within temperature and environmental guidelines. Thus, it starts to deteriorate over a period of years. As image quality decreases, records managers often choose to convert this media to digital format to retain the highest image quality possible. Microfiche conversion is priced on per image or per sheet basis. Image counts on 16mm fiche vary dramatically based on sizes and shapes of original source documents. 35mm fiche cards typically contain wide format images from original blueprints or drawings and each card will hold from 1 to 6 images.
